Condition Report
EICR is a process of an engineering view on weather or not the electrical installation is in a satisfactory condition where it can continue to be used safely. Through this process you would know if the electrical installation is safe for all livestock including pets against any shock and burn, if it is still safe for the property against fire and heat, If there is any deterioration to impair the safety, and finally if everything is complying with the older and latest Electrical standards.
C1: as the danger exist right now and immediate action needs to be taken right now to remove the danger.
The result if unsatisfactory and needs immediate action.
C2: As there is a potential danger, which potentially can happen if there is any fault. The risk is not just for the moment of report, but at any time can happen. The urgent rectifying action is needed to eliminate danger.

C3: There is no immediate or potential danger, but it is recommended to make the installation safer by upgrading the conductors, accessories, equipment’s, or devices according to the latest version of BS7671.
The result if satisfactory but it is advised to take actions recommended.
Changing a consumer unit is a serious alteration and change in the electrical installation and needs a certified person to do, have it inspected by a certified inspector, and on the next scheduled date be inspected for EICR.
